Recap: Harmony Longhorns vs. Sebastian River Sharks
The Harmony Longhorns won the last time they faced the Sebastian River Sharks, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Harmony walked away with a 56-44 win over Sebastian River. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Harmony.
When it comes to explaining why Sebastian River lost, one person who can't be blamed is Andrew Simpson. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points along with six rebounds. The match was Simpson's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keenan Matthews, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
Harmony has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Sebastian River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.
Harmony will take on Centennial in a holiday battle at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at. Centennial knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine matches -- so hopefully Harmony likes a good challenge. Sebastian River and Trinity Christian Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Trinity Christian Academy is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
