Basketball Recap: Cinco Ranch Comes Up Short

Cinco Ranch played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 74-45 loss at the hands of the Seven Lakes Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-66 back in January.

Cinco Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 26-7. As for Seven Lakes, the win was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 30-5.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cougars duke it out with the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Katy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Cinco Ranch likes a good challenge. Seven Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
