Basketball Game Preview: Hamilton Marines vs. Churubusco Eagles

Hamilton is 0-10 against Churubusco since February of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Hamilton Marines will venture away from home to take on the Churubusco Eagles at 7:30 p.m.

Hamilton is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 62-42 to Edon.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Churubusco, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lakewood Park Christian on Tuesday, sneaking past 33-31.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Churubusco, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.

Hamilton was taken down by Churubusco 69-25 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Thankfully for Hamilton, Joey Taylor (who went 9 for 12 en route to 22 points along with six assists and four steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
