Basketball Game Preview: Fremont Packers vs. Gladstone Braves

The Fremont Packers will take on the Gladstone Braves in a tournament on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Gladstone will be up against a hot Fremont squad: the team just extended their winning streak to 15. Fremont was the clear victors by a 67-43 margin over Clare on Monday. Given the Packers' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Pioneers are ranked 245th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Gladstone waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed past the Blue Devils to the tune of 68-36.

Fremont's victory bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Gladstone, their win bumped their record up to an identical 23-2.
