Volleyball Game Preview: Lakeside Knights vs. Wallace Miners

Lakeside is 2-8 against Wallace since September of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Knights will challenge the Miners at 7:00 p.m. Lakeside is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

On Thursday, Lakeside made easy work of Kootenai and carried off a 3-0 win.

Lakeside walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 26-24, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Wallace didn't have quite enough to beat Coeur du Christ Academy on Thursday and fell 3-2. While the Miners didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Saints 25-21 in the first set.

Wallace started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 18-25, 25-18, 25-20, 15-13.

Wallace's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Lakeside, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.

Lakeside was able to grind out a solid victory over Wallace in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
