Softball Recap: Geneva Takes a Loss

Geneva lost against LaBrae back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles lost 9-1 to the Vikings. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Geneva saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Annabelle Bragg, who went 2-for-3 with one double. Those hits were Bragg's first of the season.

Geneva now has a losing record of 2-3. As for LaBrae, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Geneva wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 24-0 defeat against Archbishop Hoban on the 12th. As for LaBrae, they have also already played their next match, a 13-2 win against Cardinal Mooney on the 12th.
