Volleyball Recap: Liberty Now 12-3 over Last 15 Games

Liberty not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 27th. Everything went their way against the Amplus Academy Archers as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Liberty was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-13.

ADAM STAPLES paced Liberty's offense, picking up nine kills. STAPLES got some help from DYLAN DOMINE and his 12 assists. DOMINE was also solid from the service line: he led the team with eight aces.

Liberty is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Amplus Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Liberty is set to take on their familiar foe Spring Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Amplus Academy will face off against rival Las Vegas at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
