Volleyball Recap: Immaculata-La Salle's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Immaculata-La Salle had won two straight games and Gabrielle VonTeuber did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Royal Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart Cyclones thanks in part to VonTeuber, who had 18 digs. VonTeuber is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

The win didn't come easy: Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 26-24, 25-23.

Immaculata-La Salle's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Immaculata-La Salle will take on Palmer Trinity at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart and Mater Brickell Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on September 3.
