The North Monterey County Condors didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the King City Mustangs on Friday, but they still walked away with a 18-13 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Condors.

North Monterey County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Crystal Derrer and Maya Ibarra. Another thorn in King City's side was Nalani Mendoza, who picked up three sacks and made six total tackles.

Although King City took the loss, they still got scores from Katia Slama and Mayte Sarabia.

North Monterey County's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for King City, they moved to 13-9 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

North Monterey County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-0 victory against North Salinas on the 21st. As for King City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-0 loss against Palma on the 20th.
