Riverside Prep waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. This was payback for the Silver Knights, who suffered a 1-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Riverside Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, they now have a losing record at 4-5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside Prep will challenge University Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, they will take on Lucerne Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
