Volleyball Recap: Juneau-Douglas Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Juneau-Douglas can now relate to. They came up short against the Service Cougars on Friday, falling 3-0. The Crimson Bears haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

While Juneau-Douglas ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17, 25-19.

Juneau-Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 26-20-7. As for Service, their win bumped their record up to 26-15-3.

Juneau-Douglas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Service has already played their next match (against Dimond), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
