Rangely skates past Nucla with ease

Recap: Rangely Panthers vs. Nucla Mustangs

The Rangely Panthers entered their tilt with the Nucla Mustangs with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Rangely really took it to Nucla for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-20 win at home. With Rangely ahead 32-10 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Rangely's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Annika Cantrell, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Miah Wren, who scored 14 points along with 3 steals.

Darcy Bray and Kendra McCluer certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Bray scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds, while McCluer scored 6 points.

Rangely's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Nucla, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing North Park the next time they take the court. Nucla will head out to face North Park at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, while Rangely will host them at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
