Volleyball Game Preview: Freedom Prep Academy Eagles vs. Grand County Red Devils

After both having extra time off, the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles and the Grand County Red Devils will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Freedom Prep Academy is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

Last Tuesday, Freedom Prep Academy got the win against Vanguard Academy by a conclusive 3-0.

Freedom Prep Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12, 25-19.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Grand County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Montezuma-Cortez on Wednesday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Red Devils have posted since September 10th.

Grand County was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (105-104), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 18-25, 21-25, 15-12.

Freedom Prep Academy's record is now 13-8. As for Grand County, their record now sits at 7-14.
