Soccer Recap: Central Starts Season with Win at Home

Central took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bald Eagle Area Eagles a 5-0 shutout. Central haven't had any issues with Bald Eagle Area recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Bald Eagle Area is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Central will take on rival Richland at 6:00 p.m. on September 4. Meanwhile, Bald Eagle Area is set to square off against their familiar foe Westmont Hilltop at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
