Volleyball Recap: Prosper Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Prosper was the 3-2 winner over Liberty when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redhawks on Tuesday.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Liberty scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 23-25, 25-18.

Liberty was led to victory by Morgan Ferguson and Riley Wong. Ferguson had 20 digs and seven assists, while Wong had 19 assists and eight digs. Those seven assists gave Ferguson a new career-high. Emersyn Fink also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Prosper now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Liberty, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Prosper will take on Lone Star at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty, they will take on Celina in a tournament on Friday.
