Volleyball Recap: Hampshire Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hampshire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Hickman County Bulldogs. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in August of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hampshire was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Hickman County work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16, 26-24.

Hayleigh Chocholka was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 20 digs. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Hampshire's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hickman County, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Hampshire will challenge Lewis County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hickman County, they will venture away from home to square off against East Hickman County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
