Basketball Recap: Trenton's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was fun while it lasted, but Trenton's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Saturday. They fell to the Richardton-Taylor Raiders 55-50. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Trenton fell to 4-1. As for Richardton-Taylor, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trenton will take on Des Lacs-Burlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Des Lacs-Burlington will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Trenton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Richardton-Taylor, they will be playing at home against New Salem at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
