Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Argonia). They slipped by the Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans 47-46 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Cedar Vale/Dexter lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Zoe Davidson, who went 8 for 12 on her way to 15 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Edee Boatman, who posted five points in addition to five assists and five boards.

Argonia now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Argonia will square off against Udall at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, they will take on Bluestem at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
