Basketball Recap: East Brunswick Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact East Brunswick can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 74-40 loss at the hands of the Hillsborough Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 237th, while the Raiders are ranked 16th).

East Brunswick has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-21 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Hillsborough and bumps their season record up to 19-6.

East Brunswick does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hillsborough, they will challenge Franklin on Wednesday.
