Basketball Recap: West Lowndes Gets the Win

West Lowndes posted their closest win since November 30, 2024 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-42 victory over the West Union Eagles. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 54-32 loss the last time these two teams met.

With the win, West Lowndes broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7. As for West Union, they dropped their record down to 6-15 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

West Lowndes didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-36 loss against Smithville on the 16th. West Union has also already played their next matchup, a 57-50 defeat against Vardaman on the 17th.
