Football Recap: Rowland Comes Up Short

Rowland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Northview Vikings, falling 28-7. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 35-27 to the Vikings when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rowland's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Northview, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rowland will face off against rival Charter Oak at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Raiders 13.8, the Chargers 13) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Northview is set to challenge their familiar foe San Dimas at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
