Baseball Recap: Mineral Point Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Mineral Point came out on top against Boscobel on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run second inning. The Pointers took their game against the Bulldogs 10-5. The Pointers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Mineral Point pushed their record up to 14-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Boscobel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.

Mineral Point will be playing in front of their home fans against River Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Boscobel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
