Football Recap: Newton County Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Newton County Academy can now relate to. They were dealt a 42-12 defeat at the hands of the River Oaks Mustangs on Thursday. The Generals were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than 31 points in the six contests prior), but the Mustangs' defense proved too tough.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead River Oaks to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaden Ramer, who rushed for 81 yards and three TDs, and also picked up 61 receiving yards and one score. Andrew Robinson was another key player, rushing for 109 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.
