Northern Cass faced Oakes in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Jaguars took down the Tornadoes 25-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Jaguars also won the last time the pair played  back in September of 2024.

Northern Cass got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Parker Zieske out in front who rushed for 116 yards, and also picked up 49 receiving yards and one  TD.
