Basketball Game Preview: St. John Lutheran Saints vs. Cedar Key Sharks

The St. John Lutheran Saints will square off against the Cedar Key Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Tuesday, St. John Lutheran ended up a good deal behind Bell and lost 48-30.

Meanwhile, Cedar Key was beaten by Chiefland 50-15 on Tuesday. The game marked the Sharks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cedar Key's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for St. John Lutheran, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

St. John Lutheran took a serious blow against Cedar Key in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 59-18. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point St. John Lutheran was down 41-11.
