Greenfield-Central has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will host the Yorktown Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both have allowed few points on average, (Greenfield-Central: 15.8, Yorktown: 16.3) so any points scored will be well earned.

Greenfield-Central's usually-dominant defense will be looking to make up for Saturday's struggle, when New Palestine offense got past them. Greenfield-Central took a blow against New Palestine on Saturday, falling 38-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

The defeat snapped Greenfield-Central's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-1 record. As for Yorktown, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Greenfield-Central didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Yorktown when the teams last played back in September of 2023, but they still walked away with a 35-30 win.
