Basketball Game Preview: South Davidson Wildcats vs. West Davidson Dragons

Having just played yesterday, the South Davidson Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the West Davidson Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Davidson has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 28.

On Monday, South Davidson came up short against Asheboro Hybrid Academy and fell 49-38. While the Wildcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 13-5 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West Davidson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They managed a 53-47 win over North Rowan on Friday.

West Davidson is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.2 points over those games. As for South Davidson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-18.

South Davidson came up short against West Davidson in their previous meeting back in January, falling 50-38. Can South Davidson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
