Basketball Game Preview: North Port Bobcats vs. Booker Tornadoes

The North Port Bobcats will venture away from home to square off against the Booker Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Port has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 178 points over their last three contests.

Two weeks ago, North Port didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Gulf Coast, but they still walked away with a 59-55 win.

Meanwhile, Booker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 72-41 loss at the hands of Sarasota. The Tornadoes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-12.

North Port's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Booker, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

North Port came up short against Booker when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 58-50. Can North Port avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
