Basketball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson suffered their biggest defeat since November 21, 2024 on Thursday. They were beaten by the Edgerton Crimson Tide 61-32. The Eagles have struggled against the Crimson Tide recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Edgerton, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-1.

Jefferson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-56 defeat against Fort Atkinson on the 25th. As for Edgerton, they will take on Delavan-Darien at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Edgerton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Delavan-Darien likes a good challenge.
