Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask City of Life Christian Academy). They put the hurt on the Warner Christian Academy Eagles with a sharp 15-5 victory on Saturday. The Warriors not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 30, 2024.

Brady Almeida made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Almeida was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, City of Life Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Luis Marcelino, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Jayden Gonzalez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI.

City of Life Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win made it two in a row for City of Life Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 2-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games.
