            The Bellarmine College Prep Bells are taking a road trip to  challenge the De La Salle Spartans  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Bellarmine College Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Franklin  a   1-0 shutout. The  victory was all the more spectacular given the Bells' disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Wildcats are ranked fourth).
Edison typically has all the answers at home, but  on Tuesday De La Salle proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of  2-0.
 Nicolas DeMartini and  Ronan Rattigan scored both of De La Salle's goals,  bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.
 De La Salle has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record  this season. Bellarmine College Prep's record is now 18-3.
