Baseball Recap: Fort Hamilton Comes Up Short

Fort Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 11-5 to the Midwood Hornets.

Fort Hamilton saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Pedro Gil Padilla, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those stolen bases marked the first that Gil Padilla has snagged this season. August Porter was another, going 3-for-4 with one run.

Fort Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 0-13-1. As for Midwood, their win bumped their record up to 8-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Hamilton will challenge Madison at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Midwood, they will face off against Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
