After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Garrett, Central Noble was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Churubusco Eagles 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since September 23rd.

Churubusco's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Alyssa Marks, who had 16 assists, and Cora Boersema, who had four digs and two aces.

Central Noble's win bumped their record up to 9-18. As for Churubusco, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season.

Central Noble has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against West Noble on the 11th. As for Churubusco, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Prairie Heights on the 11th.
