Basketball Recap: Austin Catholic Takes a Loss

Austin Catholic lost against Our Lady of the Lakes back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Austin Catholic Crusaders were beaten by the Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers 50-19.

Austin Catholic has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for Our Lady of the Lakes, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.

Austin Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bethany Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bethany Christian will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Austin Catholic surely won't give up without a fight. As for Our Lady of the Lakes, they and Clawson will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Our Lady of the Lakes is facing Clawson at the right time seeing as Clawson is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
