Football Game Recap: Ajo Red Raiders vs. Berean Academy Eagles

The Ajo Red Raiders and the Berean Academy Eagles squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly the Ajo Red Raiders had to settle for second. Ajo took a serious blow against Berean Academy, falling 38-6. Ajo was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Berean Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Logan Sealey was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Sealey hasn't dropped below sixsolo tackles for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Bethea, who picked up 88 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Ajo's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Berean Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Ajo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Berean Academy is on the road again on November 18th and play against Western SciTech at 12:00 p.m. on November 18th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Western SciTech is ranked 14th, while Berean Academy is ranked 13th).
