Basketball Recap: Six Straight Road Victories for Power Center Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kirby, Power Center Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Melrose Golden Wildcats by a score of 63-51. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 76-61 back in January.

Power Center Academy pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Melrose, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Power Center Academy has already played their next match (against Freedom Prep Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Melrose will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ridgeway at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ridgeway has four straight victories, Melrose has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
