Living Word Lutheran entered their tilt with Watertown on Saturday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Goslings.

Eden Roethel paced Living Word Lutheran's offense, picking up 16 kills. Roethel got some help from Emree Kellerman and her 33 assists. Finally, Roethel was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Living Word Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Watertown, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Living Word Lutheran will head out to challenge Cedarburg at 7:00 p.m. on the 8th. As for Watertown, they will square off against Oregon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Goslings' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
