West Creek won the last time they faced McEwen and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Coyote came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Coyote.

While West Creek might've won, it sure wasn't easy: McEwen scored at least 22 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 17-25, 28-26.

West Creek can attribute much of their success to Jemma Walker, who had eight digs and three aces. Lorelei Castaneda was another key player, getting 11 digs.

They weren't the only good servers: West Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 12 consecutive matchups.

West Creek's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for McEwen, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

West Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Springfield on the 2nd. As for McEwen, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against East Hickman County at 5:00 p.m.
