Flag Football Game Preview: Deer Valley Skyhawks vs. Boulder Creek Jaguars + Official Tickets

The Deer Valley Skyhawks will venture away from home to take on the Boulder Creek Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Deer Valley will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

On Tuesday, Deer Valley strolled past Mohave with points to spare, taking the game 19-3.

A big part of Deer Valley's win came down to the chemistry between Allison Morris and her top target Deja Ayers. Morris threw for 191 yards and two TDs while Ayers picked up 105 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Deer Valley didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Mohave to a completion percentage of just 44.4%. The Skyhawks hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.52 or higher in three consecutive games.

Deer Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Liana Britt and Kaycee Brenden.

Meanwhile, Boulder Creek's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged out Chandler 17-14.

Boulder Creek found their leader in freshman Sophia Coffman, who threw for 128 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 60 yards.

Deer Valley's record is now 4-0. As for Boulder Creek, their record now sits at 3-0.
