Basketball Game Preview: Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts vs. Fairview Eagles

The Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts will head out to challenge the Fairview Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Mio-Au Sable is headed into Monday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They fell 40-33 to Hale on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Thunderbolts came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Eagles are ranked 457th).

Meanwhile, Fairview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a hard 29-15 fall against All Saints Central.

Mio-Au Sable's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-4. As for Fairview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Everything came up roses for Mio-Au Sable against Fairview in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 76-6 win. Does Mio-Au Sable have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fairview turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
