Soccer Recap: Omaha Central Victorious

Omaha Central proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by seven) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past the Westview Wolverines 3-2. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but Omaha Central were the better team in the second half.

They hit Westview with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jane Parker, Angeline Smolsky, and Hattie Moeller.

Omaha Central now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Westview, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Omaha Central will take on Millard South in a tournament on Thursday. As for Westview, they will challenge Omaha Northwest at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Westview are facing Omaha Northwest at the right time seeing as Omaha Northwest are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
