Basketball Game Preview: Amite Warriors vs. St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons

Amite and St. Thomas Aquinas are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Amite Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Amite will be strutting in after a victory while St. Thomas Aquinas will be coming in after a defeat.

Amite is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging an 82-54 win over Bogalusa. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Lumberjacks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, St. Thomas Aquinas came up short against French Settlement on Friday, falling 66-46. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Thomas Aquinas now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Amite, their win bumped their record up to 6-31.

Amite didn't have too much breathing room in their game against St. Thomas Aquinas in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 76-70 victory.
