Volleyball Recap: Shoreland Lutheran Comes Up Short

Shoreland Lutheran suffered their biggest loss since September 4th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Indian Trail Hawks. The Pacers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-15.

Morgan Curcio paced Shoreland Lutheran's offense, picking up 11 kills. Curcio got some help from Hailey Grove and her 17 assists. Natalia Adams controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Shoreland Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Indian Trail, their victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shoreland Lutheran will take on Martin Luther at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indian Trail, they will challenge Racine Case at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
