Soccer Recap: Westlake's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Riverton, Westlake was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bingham Miners a 1-0 shutout. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Westlake as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Whitney Adams, which was the first she's scored this season.

Westlake's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Bingham, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
