Oxford Prep extended their postseason success on Friday against Warren County. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 22-3 win. The Griffins' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Oxford Prep let Hailey Crowder and Hailey Woodlief run wild. Crowder went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one double, while Woodlief went 4-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those five RBI gave Woodlief a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Marleigh Swanner, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Oxford Prep and bumps their season record up to 14-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.5 runs over those games. As for Warren County, they moved to 16-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
