There's no place like home for Childress, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Tulia Hornets with a sharp 15-4 victory on Thursday. The Bobcats not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 20th (when they won 17-3).

Childress got a massive performance out of Creedan Bell, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Bell a new career-high. Logan Oldham also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Childress was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .560. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .355 or higher in three consecutive games.

Childress now has a winning record of 11-10-1. As for Tulia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-8-1 record this season.

Childress will venture away from home to challenge River Road at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Tulia, they will square off against Dalhart at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last six games the Wolves have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
