Basketball Game Preview: Fort Loramie Redskins vs. Jackson Center Tigers

The Fort Loramie Redskins will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Jackson Center Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Saturday, Fort Loramie lost to Versailles at home by a 47-29 margin. The game marked the Redskins' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Dj Barhorst, who posted ten points. Carter Gasson was another key player, putting up five points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jackson Center, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 64-48 win over Indian Lake on Saturday. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

This is the second loss in a row for Fort Loramie and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Jackson Center, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Fort Loramie was dealt a bruising 48-20 defeat at the hands of Jackson Center when the teams last played back in January. Can Fort Loramie avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
