Basketball Game Preview: Clover Hill Cavaliers vs. L.C. Bird Skyhawks

Clover Hill is 0-10 against L.C. Bird since January of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Clover Hill Cavaliers will head out to face off against the L.C. Bird Skyhawks at 7:30 p.m.

On Monday, Clover Hill lost to Huguenot at home by a 54-39 margin. The contest marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, L.C. Bird had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Indians 64-37. The Skyhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

Clover Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for L.C. Bird, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.

Clover Hill was dealt a bruising 77-47 loss at the hands of L.C. Bird in their previous meeting back in January. Can Clover Hill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
