Softball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson fell victim to St. Mary Catholic Central and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Falcons/Kestrels, falling 11-0. The Bears' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Jefferson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alivia LeBrun, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for St. Mary Catholic Central, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson will face off against Riverview at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Mary Catholic Central, they will take on Richard at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
