Basketball Recap: Marshall Skates Past Pilot Station with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marshall). They blew past the Pilot Station King Salmon 68-24 on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Pilot Station lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Alfred Joseph, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Francis, who put up six points.

Marshall's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Pilot Station, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Russian Mission the next time they take the court. Marshall will host Russian Mission at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Pilot Station will host them on Thursday.
